This is a sample manuscript for the Literacy in Composition Studies journal that I edited for first-round copyedits according to the journal's style guide. It was an in-class assignment as part of an editing course at the College of Charleston.

Throughout a publishing course, the class spent a period of time in editing teams. As a management editor, I was part of the team to create a sustainability plan for a hypothetical publication release. This work also included a proposal for a possible publication to release in the format of a pitch deck.

I was given another manuscript in an editing course and told to redesign and recreate a style guide for the Literacy and Composition Studies journal. Attached is a sample of my editing guide and a sample manuscript. This design was created in Word using style guidelines that I crafted through the processor.

Attached is a sample cover letter for a job posting that interested me as a future career path.
